Default tps problems again

sup everyone. i've been having the tps CEL for quite some time now and i can't seem to fix it. i tried calibrating the sensor to ~0.50. my idle stayed calm and there was no cel. but when i go for a drive, the cel would come on at any random time, whether its 5 minutes into driving or even 20 minutes. then my idle starts staying around 900-1100 rpms. i even tried swapping another tps that i had onto it and calibrated that one. i dont know really know what else to do, and im kind of worried because i need to smog my car soon so i can register it. can anybody have any input??

check the linkage and check your evap canister, i threw on an aftermarket tb and thought it was the tps and turned out to be the evap

does the tps bog and cause the car to stall when driving it only? If so check and make sure that the harness itself the little gray harness is untwined and the three wires that run to it are free are untangled -- mine did the same thing and it turned out to be that the harness was twisted which cause the tps to short and it would also cause the tps to jump around in voltage readings... hope it helps...

Yeah, if the TPS is good, then check the wires and the connections.

my car doesn't have any hesitation nor does it stall. what exactly would cause the evap canister to mess up the tps??

ill check out the wires today.
