Can any body tell me the torque specs for rods and bearings for a h23a1?....

14 ft lbs according to my chiltons

 

wow thats way off... i think the torque specs for the rods are like 40 lbs and for the mains are 70...but i may be wrong...so if someone knows a site or just knows please tell me, ive been looking all over the web but cant find a site...

Haynes/Chiltons are really pretty useless.

 

it says for 2.2 l its 34ft lbs and for 2.3 14 ft lbs for connecting rods and bearings

 

according to the link from above what i quoted was right
