Default Tire Question

Ok... I did a search, but couldn't find exactly what I was looking for. Someone had posted that they had bought some tires for around $250 shipped from TireRack. What kind were they and if you know of that link I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

it really depends on wheel size. but regardless of what size youre running, Yokohama AVS ES100's are the shiz, my friend has them on his turbo 4wd stealth. they grip like crazy in the wet or dry. They cost ~300 bux.

Thanks for all the replies. I am mainly just looking for some tires to last until I get a set of wheels. I only need these to last until the end of summer.

Kumhos are about the cheapest I've seen - they aren't the greatest tires in the world, but they will definitely carry you thru a summer...

yokohama gets better review and user feedback then kumhos ....
better to get the yoko's imo, i just got the parada 2's waiting for them to be sent. the only thing i didnt like about the a520's were that on the highway they kinda caught grooves in the pavement......
falken has some good tires too

I got yokohama AVS ES100's on my lude and they grip really well. I paid 230$ with shipping for 4 195/150/15's. So I would definitely recommend them.

I have narrowed it down to the AVS ES 100's or the Kuhmo 712's. Looks to be around $345 for either shipped. Thanks for the replies.

seriously go to tirerack.com or something and read there track test results, they test the two tires i believe and the yoko gets better treadwear and grip and stuff....

That's where I looked. And they do get a better rating. I think those are the ones that I am going to get.
