What's legal in your state? Around here, it's 35% max, and it's not uncommon to get a ticket for having lower

the darker the better looking, I don't do tint tho, it looks ghetto and you'll just get harassed by cops

your allowed to go as dark as you want in the rear windows but the driver and pass window have to be legal with that state

yep , here in texas you can go as dark as you want on the rear and the driver and passenger have to be 35% or greater.

like crap, go with 20 on the fronts and darker on the back, and if you ever get pulled over your story should be "oh, I'm sorry... the guy before me tinted these"

limo on the rear window and rear side windows and 35 on the front sides. or you can do 35 on all the sides so they match. but the rear window lets a lot of heat in if its not tinted.

35% on the sides. my rear window is bubbling and the drivers side has no tint at all..

im tempted to do limo all the way around because my buddy has it and hasnt gotten any ****.. but he drives a sonata.

The darker, the better. I've got 5% on my 4th gen and the windows look black from the outside. I think it looks sharp with a really low tint percentage, so if 20% is your lowest option, then it would get my vote.

5% is hard to see out of at night, especially if backing up or something, I tried 2.5 and it was WWWWWaAAAAAy too dark.

I'm looking to get 20%, if that matters.

Right now I have 35% on the rears and no tint upfront, the 35% looks decent, but not dark enough in my opinion.

That sucks, man. My friend tried to take off his own window tint once. It was a PITA.

I've heard that using steam on the windows to take it off helps a bit, though.

In NC on passenger cars the tint max is 35%. On trucks and Suv's all the windows but the front 2 windows can be as dark as you want.

I am going with 35% on the Lude when I get that far.

usually the darker u go the harder its going to be to see out the back at night. i have around 30% and its okay, but any darker i dont know. it sure looks good all blacked out but u loose alot of visibility.

Well I've posted the same thing in another thread with basically the same title.

here is 35% from the inside
http://www.people.ku.edu/~matt...s.jpg

outside:
http://www.people.ku.edu/~matt...r.jpg

I've driven from 5% in the rear to 35% in the rear, and I wouldn't get darker then 35%. Even then its alittle hairy backing up.

Whatever you do unless you have heat gun and experience pay someone to do it.
