Default Timing Question?

Hey everyone I recently swapped a f22b DOHC JDM motor in my 95 Prelude Si, I know boo wish i had the H22. But anyways i'm using a timing belt that is some what tight, but fits. The only problem is that I had to set the exhaust cam 5 degrees in more so its a tighter fit. The question is my idle studders sometimes and when I accelerate sometimes it hesitates in the 3-4k range. maybe cause I don't have the f22b ECU (using stock Si) or something else. Basically I want to know if this will hurt my motor in anyway kinda way? Thanks for the help

so you advanced your motor 5 degrees? how does that make your timing belt tighter? isnt that what the auto tensioner is for?

Well what you said was correct, but still I'm just wondering if the hesatation or studdering when my car is running will be a problem in the future.
