I got my AEM V2 intake in yesterday and installed it. Everything was going good..test drove it and all. I went to my friend's house to show him my intake and take him for a ride and i notice the pedal had no response when i pushed it the first 3 inches or so. Later on i checked my cable and there was so much slack on it. I did a search on HPOA.org and found a post from back in February about a rubber seal thing on the pedal so i checked that out later that night at my friend's house and found out that it was that rubber seal thing. I was wondering if there was some kind of recall on this and how much would it cost to have it fixed you think? Feedback would be appreciated. Thanks.

 

check to make sure that the throttle cable is tight. if its not. there ya go. otherwise i got no clue.

 

well yeah i did that but the pedal affects the cable...there is some slack on the cable but i don't want to damage it by tightening the cable when i know its a rubber seal on the pedal
