ive recently cleaned out the IAC valve(idle purposes, 91K miles on the car), and while putting it back together i dropped a bolt into the engine bay, leaving it loose. i drove around for a day thinking it would be fine but the car started to buck back and forth, depending on if i tapped or let go of the gas. i immediatedly parked the car @ home, and left it be, until i got another bolt.

after i got hte bolt everything was fine, until my car started to throw a CEL. CEL 71, misfiring in cylinder 1, and i read from what could have caused my cel was, the IAC valve. so i reset my ecu numerous amounts of times, and it just kept on coming back. so i someone gave me an idea to change the spark plugs, and while i was @ it i changed the wires. the CEL came back once, and than i reseted it and hasnt come back since. but the only problem i have is the car boggs a bit. i can tell something is wrong with the TB functioning, becuz if i let go of the gas it feels like i dropped the clutch while shifting and not easing it with teh accelerator, and when i tap the gas it kinda has more of a jerking motion. sorry if this makes no sense. but think of having a new person driving manaul and letting go of the clutch to early and bucking back and forth.

does neone konw the reason for my TB to be all weird. becuz i really didnt fool around with nething but the IAC valve. everything else should be perfect, so it has left me confsued. ne suggestions will help thanks!.

 

is it a stock throttle body or aftermarket? if it's aftermarket what size is it?

 

its stock. someone told me to clean the TB, but why in the world would these things be so contamined.

 

did you mess with the throttle cable thingy? i think all thats happening is your throttle is sticking. also is there anything else you did to your car that the bogging could be from. and does it only bog when you first start driving or does it do it all the time?
