Default Tein Suspension

Is anyone out there running any Tein suspension setups/components on their 4th gen Preludes? I have a '92 S and am trying to figure out what to go with. If I'm not mistaken, they don't offer the SS for that year/model, but the Basic setup is available. Just curious about the brand, or if anyone has any other recommendations.

There is a SS kit for your car. The SS is a very good kit especially for the price.

they have Base, SS, and Flex kits (in order of price/handling ability from worst to best) for our cars that are commonly attainable. I absolutely love my Flex's... I had Koni Yellows w/ H&R Race St. 2 springs before, and damn these things whoop the crap out of them in all departments. Godly...

ya, teins are good, dont know how you drive, but SS is good for everyday street which you can track when you want, look at http://www.tein.com and read up about the FLEX, dont know if you want that aggressive, but do check out http://www.importhookup.com for tein deals

I have Tein Basics. I really like them. Great for daily driving and very competent on the track. They get a from me.

I have a 92 Si 4WS.

you should be very happy with them

what type of driving do you plan on doing with them? street, auto-X, road race, just an upgrade from OEM??

Mostly street and upgrade from OEM. My car is hopping all over the road when I hit bumps and there's a bad rattle coming from the front right strut, so they need to be replaced anyway. I'm in school right now, but would like to get involved in some autox sometime.

Thanks for all the input, I think I will be going with Tein after hearing your comments. On a side note, does anyone recommend any company to order from? I live in Oklahoma and my resources are limited, although I know of a shop or two that could probably order them.

having a shop order them is the best way to get them at teh highest possible cost
i would def. get them from a sponsor here
look in the sponsor or for sale sections here, you can get them shipped to your door for a cheaper price and then pay a shop to only put them on.

you could start by checking here https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=902027

The Tein BASIC system is really awesome, i have it on my 92 Si and they are extremely competent for the track and street as mentioned above. It's a very comfortable ride (though i can't compare them to another setup cause this is what ive been running since stock).

Is installation of the components a very difficult procedure as far as time goes or running into any seized up bolts?

Also, I should have posted this in the first topic, but I'm wanting to replace all the bushings too - the car's about 12 years old now (117k mi) and I dont think they were touched before I owned it. And, how about camber - does the ride height drop cause enough change to need camber kits? If so, are these hard to install. Ingals is the only brand I'm familiar with - any others worth mentioning?
