Default Tein HA VS. Tein Flex

So I'm debating on which one to get. From what I hear the HA is better than the Flex, but hard to get your hands on.

Anyone have experience with either and care to share their thoughts?

Also has anyone had trouble installing the EDFC unit on a 5th gen Prelude?

Thanks!

But its not a direct replacement...HA was available for a while in the JDM market I believe, and FLEX was better suited to NA. If I were to get a slightly used set of HA vs. new set of FLEX, which is the better one?

What suspension are you on right now? Have you considered anyother brands other than Tein? I have been on the Tein SS damper for 5 years, and I am happy with the way it feels and performs, but I also put on ingalls camber kit.

Boy you're about to dump some money on silly parts.

Konis and GCs would be a much better choice

plus that EDFC is such a gimmick for suckers that want 3093234 digital displays in their car.

you only need the EDFC if you plan on doing serious race tuning, otherwise get H&R springs with koni adjustable. its WAY cheaper with just the right suspension.

save your money so you can get a nice big rear sway bar, it helps soooooo much

Sorry just to clarify...I'm not getting the EDFC...at least not right now...that was just out of curiosity..cause there's no way I'd make any use of that right now or anytime soon.

Reason why I'm leaning towards Teins is that I've got a potential hookup to get these at cost, and I know quite a few people who have them and are very satisfied with them.

I know everyone has the Koni/GC combo, so I wanted to try something different. Was also toying with the idea of Bilstein shocks, but leaning more towards the Teins.

all the edfc does is turn the damper adjusters on the shocks for you....its sole "purpose" is to be able to adjust damping while driving.....which is something that someone doing "serious race tuning" wouldn't bother with....they'd have better things to drop money on

i also had the option to go for teins or koni/gc

i went with the teins because my sponsor was able to get them in
i have the flex and upgraded the rear springs to 8k
so now my flexes have 10k/8k f/r

i forget what spring rates come with the HA...prolly 10k/8k or even 12k up front

i also have tein SS on the other lude

the car with the flex autocrosses twice a month
so far really good
