Default TEIN EDFC

I am planning on purchasing the TEIN SS coilvers for my 00 SH and i am wondering if the EDFC (Electronic Damping Force Controller) is really tht great of a device to have. i was thinking about buying it with it just bc i thought it would be really convient to adjust the stiffness of my car . i am wondering what people who have them on think about and if its tht great of a mod to have. thanx.

useless item that costs too much money.

it's not hard to pop your trunk/hood and turn a ****.

once i set damper settings i leave em alone until i need to adjust them at the track which is, once a month at the most?

if you're going to purchase SS's with the upper pillowball mounts since you need them to if you want to use the edfc, thenwhy not just get flexes?

I think...

The SS's are not teflon coated (prevents rust) but I heard flexes still rust bad.

I think you cannot adjust the height/spring preload on the SS but can on the flexes

Flexes come with upper pillowball mounts

I'm not 100% about these, someone can come and correct me

then i will correct you . tein flex has teflon coating, and tein ss has paint coating, both are to prevent rusting obviously. and you can also buy ss with upper pillowball mounts (needed for the install of EDFC), but then they cost almost as much as the flex, so why bother with the ss if you want EDFC?

Do you need the pillow ball mounts if you are not getting the edfc? I am getting the flexes this fall and not sure if I need the mounts or not. I'm not planning on getting the edfc.

tein flex always comes with the upper pillowball mounts, even if you aren't going to get edfc.
