Default tein differences

I searched and tried to find this info on my own but had no luck. Can someone tell me the differences in the basic, superstreet, and flex coilovers? What exactly is the pillowball uppermount, does it have to do with the edfc? Thanks

Basic: teins lower end shock setup, pretty pricey, id rather go with something else

Super Street: 16way adjustable, made for the track and also street driving. I have them and they handle very good for the street and track.

Flex: I don't have personal experience with them, but there even more aggresive and track oriented, although you can drive with them on the street, a lot of people complain about the ride. Me, i dont care.

The pillowball uppermount replaces your stock top "hat" which holds the shock into your car via those 2 bolts on the shock tower under the hood.

As far as i remember they keep the shock straighter when cornering to increase handling/traction i think. Honestly for the amount of money they are, unless its a track only car, i see no reason in having them, they really wont be much use unless your really pushing your car which you shouldn't be on the street.

EDFC: Just a motor that turns the shock adjustment so you can change it while in the car. Dont need pillowball to use edfc.

If your going to go with something as high end (as far as tein products) the flex kit, then i would get the pillowball upper mounts.
