i was doing a couple runs with a friend on the highway, just 3rd-4th gear, and after drving for about 5 minutes afterwards a cel came up and turns out its a tdc cel code #8. pulled over and turned off the car then turned it back on, cel was still there and now it wont rev over 2000 rpm. it would just bog and wouldnt let me go over 2000 rpm. do i just need to replace my whole dizzy or what?? any help please

Leave your dizzy alone for now...Open your hood and look to make sure the TDC sensor hasn't wiggled itself loose or anything.

 

wheres the tdc sensor located? inside the dizzy?
