TB Issue
I just did the full timing belt change that included all the seals and belts etc.
My 5th gen lude started to make a rattling noise where the timing belt (aftermarket) (ruined) is located. I brought it back to the mechanic that changed it and he said that the timing was tensioned too much and that he couldnt do anything about it because it is an auto-tensioner. Is this true? On top of that he broke timing belt adjuster bolt. I was like this is unbelievable?! Talk about some bad luck.
Is this completely true about those auto-tensioners? Once theyre in thats it? no adjusting possible? I just bought another timing belt (OEM HONDA), got another auto-tensioner (OEM HONDA), and timing belt adjuster bolt.
Any info would be great.Spent over $500 on parts and labor so far.

yeah to adjust/reset auto tensioners you have to take them off!! like nathan444111 said do yourself a favor and go with the manual one from a h23! ive been thru this the past 3 ludes ive had! its worth the time!!
