Default tapping in the engine causing blue smoke?

Has anyone ever heard that tapping in the engine can cause blue smoke? Something in the cylinder? Because that's one theory of what is wrong with my car. Another of course is the piston rings. The smoke has been getting worse and it normally starts smoking once the car almost gets to running temp.

Any other ideas?

V-V-V-V-VALVES!!! you might need to get a valve adjustment or one of them might have gotten bent or something weird. my friends lude started smoking really bad and it turned out to be a bad valve. he got a new one and a full adjustment. good luck

Broken ring/ringland. I had the same thing happen to me but not much smoke. Thought is was my valves, actually prayed. Took the head off, melted the one of the rings to another!
