I have tried to find a writeup of taking an engine out of a prelude but cannot find one with pictures. Is there such a thing out there?

The Helms has a step by step procedure. A couple of notes:

1. Remove the TB. You don't have to remove the intake mani, but depending on your hoist, the chain may hit the TPS and break it, if you keep the TB installed.

2. Remove the crank pulley. It'll buy you some precious room. Same goes with the alternator mount.

3. Use an engine leveler. It'll make your life TONS easier.

First I am going to say. Have fun. Preludes and H series are a tight fit.

Secondly, Get a FSM. All there is to it.

Thirdly, make one freaking post about all your questions. Not 20 different threads.

A MUST!

Removing the motor is not hard at all. Ive done it several times by my lone self and if you get some one to help you its even easier. ofcouse being your first time it will be a challenge. Get the service manual regardless of wether its in a book or cd form. You could always print out the pages you need. Thats what i do. I use my Helms manual to read up on and i use the CD to print out the pages, that way my book stays clean.
