where do i get some synchromesh i went to napa and dident know what the fu** i was talking about

jsut search in the archives, i bet you can find a part number,and go to any gm dealership, the ***** expensive though..

 

like how expencive? and what is the weight of the oil is it 10w 30 or 10w 40 or what?

 

dont jsut buy syncromesh buy friction modified syncromesh. Penzoil mtf is the same as gm fm syncromesh. It should be around 12dollars/quart for FM.

The penzoil is sold at autozone. Its lik 5 dollars a quart. Dont goto Gm bc your gonna pay way more for the same product.

Yeah right, my friend used synchromesh on his accord-its shifts like butter now. I wouldnt recommend using friction modified synchromesh more than once or twice.

 

Stupid Question: How do you change this in a 5th Gen.?

 

syncro mesh does not have the thermal stability and shearing abilites necessary to protect the honda tranny.
