Suspension recommendations?
I am looking for advice on a nice set up for a 5th gen. I don't want to do coilovers because I don't feel like fiddling with the adjustments and a harsh ride, I was thinking springs and shocks/struts combo. I am open to suggestions, I'd like to lower the car but I don't want to have to roll fenders or freak out at every crack I see ahead of me in the road... the roads here are crap.
Handling is important and I am not a wimp regarding comfort but I am looking for a nice set up for daily driving and track use once in a while.

u can get different lowering spring according to how low u want to go. skunk2 or eibach a re good brands. u can usually buy a lowering "kit". i would check ebay on a preferred sellers list. lowering the car will actually help out alot by itself because ur changing the center of gravity and ride height. i would start there and advance if u still want to. beware: the ride will stiffen from ur stock setup.
Eibach springs and koni yellows are a very nice combination, the eibachs dont make my car sit incredibly lower (1.2 inch drop) and i dont scrape much especially if im wise about how i take driveways into gas stations and what not. Dont cheap out on your shocks, go with a koni or a tokico for a nice ride with no bounce

great post guys, i just realized yesterday i needed new shocks/struts. Ive been hearing alot of small squeaks every bump, every jerk
decided to investigate after hearing a post here somewhere. just went outside and push the fender down like i heard in a post.......squeak, squeak.
gonna go with Koni.. friend of mine has tokicos on his Integra, i dont want him to think im copying...........although i like my Lude better than his Acura
Installation is very easy, you definately could do it yourself in a few hours, even if u have to buy the tools, not many needed really, but hard to tell how long it would take if you took it somewhere
I know the Eibach springs NEW will run you $200-$250, get the pro-kit, i had them on my old Honda and they'll be on my prelude soon. Not sure about the konis

The koni yellows will run you about 550-600 for the car, its pretty steep but i think its worth it, they are adjustable for fine tuning and overall bling factor if you're after that, i always had mine at the firmest setting and they rode great. I really haven't a clue what it would cost to do them, i did mine myself but i understand being without tools leaves you without much of a choice, maybe try calling pep boys or some shops local to your area

Email me for a good price on Ksport Kontrol Pro coilover systems(not to be confused with coilover sleeves).
For the price of Koni's plus springs, you will get the complete tuning corner to corner with a true coilover system setup. And an 18 month warranty.
I have a set on my 90Si Prelude.

I've had Tokico Illuminas with H&R springs that worked well and were cost effective. Illuminas are 5-Way, are are easy to access to change the compression if needed. I'd go with Eibach sportline springs. I currently run Tein Flex coilovers.
