Default Suspension difference for the S and the vtec

Is there a suspension difference from a 92 S to my 94 Vtec (stock)? Handling is better but is that just from tire size on the S it was 185/70/14 vs 205/55/15 on the vtec. just curious thanks!

I'm almost sure the spring rates and damping are diffrent. Maybe a diffrence in anti roll bars?

Everything is the same. The 92-96 S, Si and VTEC are all the same.
Front: Independent, double wishbone (unequal-length control arms), coil springs, anti-roll bar, (sway bar 25.4mm)
Rear: Independent, double wishbone (1 trailing link, 2 lateral links, 1 control arm per side), coil springs, anti-roll bar, (sway bar 23mm)

That wasnt his question. He wants to know if the springs and dampers are different.

I am really pretty sure all the suspension is the same.... Stock VTEC prelude doesn't really feel like it handles well at all, but it does decent...

I know that the springs all have the same part number, but the dampers themselves are different on the VTEC. I don't know what the difference is tho because the dampers are identical on the outside.

I was theorizing that they have a stiffer strut due to the (mild) difference in weight between the two motors, and the fact the VTEC is a more performance oriented vehicle with heavier brakes and wheels than the S.

I know 4th and 5th gen Accord shocks and springs are interchangable with those on a 4th gen Prelude. But I had a 4th gen Accord and now a 4th gen Prelude and the Prelude is way stiffer. I dont know if its because of the bigger swaybars or not, but I theorize it is the spring rates.

I think he's been hanging around with the Civic and Integra boys a little too much. The B's got to his head.
