Default Suspension...

Ok. so I have a JDM Type S motor sitting in an 95 EG Coupe, my problem is that it's on a STOCK suspension and I know, with this Brute of a motor the car is absolutely FRONT biased in weight..

Can anyone recommend a suspension set up I can go with that can effectively lower both the front and back of the car, but STILL give me a Decent ride with minimal travel?

I don't mind a stiff ride at all, matter fact the stiffer the better.

Koni with Ground Controls
You can pick your rates. I would either see what rates other guys are running, or just contact Ground Control.

Well I have a prelude MOTOR in the car and I figured that the people here either have preludes still or have the swaps in other chasis and would be able to give me input as to how I should handle the extra weight across the front wheels.

I spent some time picking and chosing where to drop this..guess I missed the target, sorry.

An H22 and tranny weigh, if I remember right, 35lbs over a B-series with tranny. So don't sweat it. This is in the wrong forum BTW.

The engines don't have that much difference in weight. Do you have handling issues or do you just want to lower it evenly like you said?

You should really be asking this in the forum for your car, not your engine.

I say Ksports Kontrol Pro kit, I have them on my 88 Prelude with the H23A swap, plus I recommend getting a good traction bar setup since the civics don't come with one stock and it will help to keep your wheels better planted.

Unless you already have one(Traction Bar) that is...?

If interested email me at my email below for details, not only do I own them, but I sell them too...

I would second the Ground Control and Koni setup recommendation. Get a slightly stiffer rate in the front to accomodate the heavier engine/tranny. Send me a PM if you want a good price too, I work at IRP
