the light is dead?

Ide have to say thats very VERY unlikely.

Its not like that light is on all the time.

It was probably cut by a stupid shade tree mech.

I would imagine you would have to pull the gauge cluster

I understand I have to take out the gage cluster, but being that mine is a 95, is there an easier way?

Well, you *could* find the pinout for the ecu, figure out which 2 wires are for the CEL, disconnect the connector from the ecu, supply power/ground, and see if the light comes on.

well I guess im gonna have to go dish out some money for a manual...whats the best one: hanes, chilton, or helms?

the factory workshop manual is propably the best. I've never seen a prelude hane's though. I have a chilton and its garbage, but the computerized factory workshop manual from honda is the best in my opinion
