A bar is a bar. Unless you care about the looks, get whichever is the cheapest on that fits.

An intake is an intake.. an exhaust is an exhaust..
A strut bar is an even bigger no-brainer, becuase it's just a bar. All it has to do is tie one strut tower to the other. To do this, it has to resist longitudinal compression. As long as the bar is a tubluar design, and the endlinks are bolted down to factory spec such that they don't move, any bar will do. I promise you that if we did a blind test you could not tell the difference between driving your car with a $20 generic bar from ebay and a Spoon Sports bar.
Andrew - who has a very expensive Spoon Sports bar, but only choose it because of the pretty finish and the brand name appeal
Neuspeed for sure.
It's all one piece... and it's a tough S.O.B.... can't bend it over your knee like the cheap brands. Spoon is awesome but way too expensive.

Did you try standing on it and bouncing up and down? I did on my spoon bar. It barely flexed. I'm not saying the Neuspeed would bend, just asking if anyone tried it.

Yea anyawy...as for your question. I tested Neuspeed vs. TypeS vs. Stock (none) and i'd have to say that the typeS came out on top. It just felt more firm and has a great thick construction.

That's not really a relevant test for a strut tower bar. An STB does not see loading forces from the top, but rather from the sides... If you push in on both the sides (the ends) simultaneously and the bar flexes, then the bar is a poor design
specialque - how much for the type s strut bar?
Also- do you mean Fairfield CT? I go to school there
you know you could just take a peice of sturdy piping or a rod, weld a seem down the middle (like . . . . . . down the length) and it will increase how rigid it is by alot. Alot of Japanese road racers (Spoon for example) do this to the unit body to help decrease body flex

.. spoon bar in the rear tho..
