Icon2 stiff chassis mod

What are some popular mods for stiffening the 4th gen chassis?
Other than strut tower bars what are some mods you have done? Custom mini cages/support bars, body braces...
Im looking for some recommendations for products people have had good results with? Also, has anyone used the universal floor brace that goes across the floor behind the seats? I was also curious about the Tanabe rear under brace.

there are all sorts of products out there for stiffening the chassis.
ultra racing makes a number of bars including a 4 point front lower bar and a set of fender bars.

explicit speed performance has trunk bars, strut bars, traction bars, etc...

you can foam fill your chassis (normally costs about a couple hundred but will stiffen it up)

you can get a custom cage or one made by companies like auto power.

you can stitch weld the bay or entire chassis if you want to go crazy.

you can get stiffer engine mounts: hasport, innovative, ESP, etc...

upgrade your suspension to spherical joints and poly bushings with grease fittings.

get a set of nice coilovers.

a large rear sway bar should make a noticable difference as well. There are tons of companies out there that make multiple bars and upgrades for the preludes. you just have to look and decide which is the best for whatever set up you are striving for.

if you're interested in the Tanabe stuff, it's pretty inexpensive for their tower bars and underbraces so I'd go with those. Really easy to install too

i have a universal floor brace and i think it helps a lot. lots of people notice it too which is nice. only downside is that if you are going to have anyone back there they loose 4-6 inches of foot room..

There is NO way those floor braces do anything to affect the performance of a FWD uni-body car like a Prelude. I hope you are joking....

ULTRA RACING 4point front under brace bar
