My car has been sitting for about a week and a half, and I finally got around to driving it yesterday. During initial application of the throttle, it seems like there is something making the accelerator pedal stick up at the neutral position, requiring additional force to push the accelerator pedal down. Obviously, when I apply the additional force, the RPM's jump to about 1500, making the acceleration jerky. The stickiness is evident every time I let the pedal reach the neutral position. Any ideas as to what I should look at?

i've noticed this also, except it happens VERY sporatically
and its usually so bad that it feels like theres a bottle underneath the pedal!!

 

carb/TB cleaner.

 

it happened to me too, but it gets stock completely down, juz adjust the cable, or spray wd-40.. hope it will fix it.
