Default SR??

When I ran the carfax report it said that my car is a 1996 Honda Prelude SI-SR. What does that mean. I had a swap done and now I have a JDM H22a in the car. Is the SR thing useless now that i have a different engine??

SR was the name of it in Canada, SI in the US

exactly

SR = Si in the US, which is why your report came out with Si-SR

SR-V is the VTEC in the states.

This applies (SR) to 3rd gens as well as 4th gens... either way the canadian models come with slightly different equipement stock
