squeeking
i got a diff h22 swapped into my prelude a couple of months ago. (2001) i took the a/c off.
problem:
i did the swap a month ago, and yesterday when i turned it on some belt would squeek really loud for a split second. the next day it would last longer and would squeek alot louder. i dont know which belt it is, timing belt isnt rubbing the valve cover, ps and alt belt arent rubbing against anything?? any ideas?? but the ps belt i have on there is pretty tight, could that be it? i dont know b/c it didnt make that noise for a motnh
Does it still squeek?
If so, take some water and pour it on the belts, one by one until the squeeking stops.
You will find the squeeking belt.
Just don't pour water on the electrical stuff.
