Default speedometer

well i was driving beside my rucca and i called her to see how fast she was goin. and when i looked at my speedometer, it said i was goin 5 mph faster then what she was goin. is there a way i can fix this? my friend said if i messed with it the needle might break and not work anymore.

Do you have aftermarket wheels? Did the other car have aftermarket wheels?

dont mess with the needle, bigger wheels will change the readings on the speedometer. but is 5 mph really worth worrying about?

yep had that problem when i went from 19's to stock with the 19's i could even cruse at highway speeds at low rpms but with the stocks the rpms stay high but i forgot if the speedo showed faster or slower

hondas come from the factory guaranteed only to be within 10% up to 65mph, so if u were going 50mph+ then u were w/in the factory specs
