Default Screeching wheels round corners @ low speed!?

Ok I brought a Honda Civic Vti 1.6 (b16a2 over here) 1994 and I noticed when I first brought the car the wheels where screaching when I went round corners at very low speeds and the tyre wear looked like the tracking needed aligning.

So I got the tracking aligned and the screeching stopped, for a bit! It has only been a few hundred miles since I got the tracking aligned and laready I have noticed the tracking seems to be going way off again.

I don't know why this coul be because I have not hit into anything atall and am always very careful not to mess the tracking up. It is not as bad as before but the wheels have started screaching again when I am going round corners at speeds I know it shouldnt be happening at.

Any ideas what could be wrong? I know the previous owner had an accident in the car and it was repaired. This was frontal damage but its passed all the relevant tests....

Any ideas would be great

Did you do the idiot check and look at the tire pressure some tires are more prone to screeching noise around a corner if the tire pressure is to low.

Try a different brand of tire. If they are $100 for all four, look elsewhere.

Suspension could be loose. i.e. ball joints, bushings.

I agree.

I still don't understand, wheels screeching. Like they're rubbing against the wheel well? Or they're rubbing against the pavement?

Sounds like ball joints to I.

Just to clarify its like they are rubbing against the pavement. Just the slightest sudden turn can make them screach. It is bothering me because obviously there is something wrong and the tyres and wearing incorrectly!

Most likely the front, and it usually stems from worn suspension components.

Have you checked the brakes? Is the wear indicator hitting the rotor?

Dumbass...

Have you checked the wheel bearings? Jack the front of the vehicle and grab the tyre at 3 and 9 o'clock. Give it a vigourous shake and see how much play you've got. If the bearings are bad, the wheel and tyre will deflect a lot more under corner load and cause the tyres to lose contact with the road surface more easily.
