Default Sooo... my...

Crankshaft pulley bolt, item # 20 snapped in half and the crankshaft pulley item #19 was chillin in my engine bay, luckily it didn't fall out... Obviously all the accessories belts came loose, my battery light turned on, lost power steering, and then the car wouldn't crank anymore... I recently did a timing belt job, torqued the crankshaft pulley to 110 lb, I do not know if that's the correct spec...

What is the effect of this??? Is my motor toast? Any tips, suggestions?

As long as it didn't jump timing and cause valve to piston contact then you should be okay. You just have to check it out man.

I have lost the bolt once, and had the bolt come loose but not gone once. Safe both times, just make sure everything is aligned right, and tighten it to proper torque, which is like 240 lbs.

Last time I lost the p/s belt on the road, and alt belt in the engine bay, so I fixed it at work and drove home. The time I lost the bolt all the way, both acc belts were on, but the crank pulley slid out enough to come off the key and the engine died, I was cruising at like 2500, so it was ok when re-timed.

110 ft/lbs is way too low. Torque spec for my 5th gen was 181 ft/lbs. Just make sure you re-align everything. Triple check that ****

You can get some loctite on that bolt. If you get the bolt from honda you will see it already has some on the threads. I believe the loctite color on the stock bolt is red.

And make sure your crankshaft key didn't get damaged/chipped. if so it will make the crankshaft wobble and over time come loose again.

Also check the area on the crankshaft pulley around where the key sits, to make sure that it didn't get chipped.

Dont forget part # 15, just so you know. You can run about 6-800 miles without that part in there ;P I wasnt running the balance shaft belt and forgot to put it in there. My timing belt got eaten up but didnt snap.

Damn, when I forgot that part once, the belt squealed as soon as I started it up, no way I would have driven it anywhere.
