Default Ski rack on a lude?

I was curious if anyone out there has attempted or has a ski rack on their lude. I got a 4th gen. and was looking into racks for it, however the roof is just so small. Anyone?

not the screw in type or rack but the ones that clip onto the doors.

I looked for one, too. I snowboard, and the little pass-through in the back seat isn't large enough for my boards. check out http://www.thule.com

well i checked the site, however further examination brought about the phrase "our testing indicates no option available for your vehicle". That little opening behind the seat is my problem as well, i have a barrecrafters rack which hooks onto the doors but he roof is so damn small id have to secure my board between the two bindings which makes me think my board is gonna air drag like crazy and probably bend any ideas, or just cut my own hole?

I haven't found one that fits either, makes me have to fold down my seats... (2 people max)

if you do a bit of tinkering, you can see how the back seats come out, you can take the whole back seats out and then will be able to fit a board inside...

i doubt anyone makes any kind of rack for us, the roof is a bit short/curvy for it...

I've used a Yakima system on my '95 for years...in fact, I bought it just after I bought the car in '97.

I've actually even used it to carry a kayak numerous times...works just fine, especially for skis or boards.

It's a great system. They say to buy the stretch kit, but for skis or boards, don't worry about it. If you want to put a kayak on, get it (trust me), but for skis (or bikes, for that matter) it really isn't necessary.

No interference with the sunroof if you set it up right...it'll open just fine (although not all the way, IIRC...haven't used it in a few years).

How big of a board have you put on it? I have a couple of 156s for every day, but when I go to CO, I bring my 168.

Honestly, I don't own a board. I put a friends' board on top once on the way up to Snowbird, but I don't know what length it was.

My skis are 205cm, though. And the kayak is 9'8".
