My mirror broke so I want to know if the internals on the 5th gen are the same as other honda's. like accord, integra n stuff. I know the casing should be diff but I just want to switch over the internals.
As long as it's a folding one, the internals are same right?

 

Although some Honda mirror glass may have the same shape, the internal mechanism and its mounting can differ. Not too long ago my 97 lude's driver side mirror glass was ripped out (whoever stole it also cracked the two worm gears that move the glass up/down/left/right). I found a late 90's accord mirror that had the same glass shape and picked it up for $25. The glass and plastic plate that the glass adheres to were a perfect match. However, the power motor portion did not mount the same way. In my case, both of the worm gears were cracked when the glass was ripped out. Luckily, I was able to pull apart the power motor portion of the accord mirror assembly and swap over the identical worm gears.
