so.... today we were slow at work and i was going thru some old pics on my work computer, noticing all the pics of my old prelude. from the orginal car in stock form, to the super rice with the wing and all, then to the super rice with the fatty intercooler up front to the semi-jdm super clean turbo setup........ god i miss that thing.... my question, should i get another one??? i mean, i love my new TL, but damn i miss being able to get from 0 to 120 in nothing flat.......... anyone left in here that sold there lude and regrets it???

Sorry man but that was one of the biggest reasons I sold my lude. I wanted to be at 350 - 400 whp and have room to grow on the parts I bought. The cost wasn't worth it. With the STi it will take about 5k to be at 400whp, have traction and better handling while still having room to grow.
Don't get me wrong, I love preludes, but they are more fun stock (with suspension)then power modified.

yeah im gonna have to agree with shakes on that, ever since i hit more than 300whp.. ( my old setup).. its not as fun.. like i cant WOT the car all the time like i used to when i had bolts on.. or greddy turbo kit on stock boost.. i would wot that kit all the time.. but when i upgraded.. and the car became much faster.. its too damn risky to wot a car that makes 400hp.. its scary.. and im worried about cops too. its really hard to explain.. i know i drove the car much more conservatively when i was past 300whp.. simply bc it was just too scary to wot the damn thing if there were other cars around..

i cant lie though shakes, i rode in a sti the other day. stock except dp, ecu and turned the boost up to 18....i had dirty thoughts going though my mind...i went home and appoligzed to my lude after that so she wouldnt be jelious, lol

I would buy another if I were you. Unless that tl is manual I would sell it. My dad owns a 03 acura tl stype s. Its fast but If I had a choice I would go with a prelude and boost it. If your going to sell it, sell it soon because the prices on those things are dropping. My dad bought his in 2004 for like 32k now worth somthing around 20k.
