Has anyone actually tried and fixed the shock knock problem for the 4g? when my car was not lowered, i didnt notice that there was any noise coming from the back. but after i lowered it, everytime i go through big or small bumps, it clunks from the rear. can anyone post pics or idea to fix this common problem?

 

ive know it to happen to 5th generations but not fourth. maybe its a similar problem. check out ntpog.org they have a write up on how to fix the shock knock for fourth generations

 

you can put some fender washers between the upper strut bushing and the metal washer, that seems to help a little.

 

Sure its your shocks? My camber kit does that like a B#@$H because the center bushint wont stay in the sleeve (SPRINT kit). I've had no problem with the front of the same kit, but this is my second pair on the rear!!! Gonna go ingalls.
