ok i searched n found some stuff, but the question i wanna ask wasnt asked in my search results...

i figured out that u have to remove the clip to seperate the boot n the **** n then unscrew the ****. but will that clip back onto the aftermarket **** or is it a clip specifically for the oem ****. i dont wanna ruin my shifter n end up havin an ugly metal stick with a **** like all the civic guys end up having, i wanna keep my lude lookin clean so if it ruins the boot im not even gonna bother to do it. so should it clip back onto the aftermarket ****?

no it wont youre gonna have to get a new boot or modify your old boot

 

Get one of those leather fake Type R ones off eBay. They're really pretty nice

 

y would i buy another boot if it wont attatch the the **** anyways
