Default Shifter problem, any help.?

So at the track, my car popped out of first gear and so I smacked it back and it cracked the ball at the bottom of the shaft in half... The pivot point for the shifter.. anyone know how to fix this.? Or replace it.? Or upgrade it.?

I would just replace the whole assembly, just to ensure nothing else was damaged, if you hammered it that hard. A junkyard assembly should be super cheap.

bringing back in case anyone finds this useful i did replace the whole shifter assembly and it didnt do anything, a few days ago was working on some things and the cable actually broke from the shifter. where it connects to the actual shifter rod, that piece of the cable actually came out the wires inside completely snapped. had to replace the cable.
