Since no one is responding Ill set it off so you can *laugh* at my lowly modded SH. (make everyone else look better.)

I have a 97SH, but I am setting it up for auto-x..so most of my mods are going to be suspension

I now have.

Injen CAI
Apex'i N1 exh
AEM cam gears
Fidanza 8lb flywheel
Exedy cluch
GC coilovers
KYB agx dampers
DC short shifter

and couple of cosmetic mods..

my future plans might be hondasaver cams and definately V-afc..I have not dynoed my car yet, waiting to get V-afc...

The SH is a waste if you just drag..any type of autox-track racing it is worth it in my opinion. Reason being the SH holds value better than base. If I could do it over again I would probobly get base and buy an LSD. but it would be far more than what I paid for my car.

Why, oh why didn't Honda give us the Prelude S-Spec?

you mean SiR. Type S has ATTS as well.

SiR has LSD.

ya I totally agree though, contemplated a couple times getting the S swap.

ive had my SH for a year now and:

iceman CAI
2.5" brullen ss exhaust
aem pullies
v-afc
ES motor mounts

havent dynoed for awhile (since cai, exh only) but should be at 175-180 now. the motor mounts are nice, adds vibration at idle but its much more responsive at low rpm and the car feals more "together", ever watch an h22 with stock mounts on a dyno? this settup is fun to drive, but you can always use more power.. starting on a custom header now (wont be done for a LOOOOOOONG time though).

i love my type SH, but I enjoy whipping around corners goign crazy fast speeds. But just do the normal mods, intake, header, exhaust and new cat. So that means, you'll end up with a DC SPort 4-2-1, AEM CAI, and either an Apex N1 or other exhaust. I have teh DC Sport exhaust on my car but the piping is only 2.25in, which is perfectly fine for NA, but its becomign a huge pain in my ***, since i'm FI. If he does end up getting an SH, i have an exhaust i'll sell him. I have my old DC header too, but the flexpipe blew and all the stainless steal was chipped off, so its just rusting away, but i'd sell it for dirt cheap. With a little steal wool and a new flex pipe, it would be fine.

I also upgraded to the fidanza 8lb flywheel and ACT HD/SS clutch. This greatly helped my times at the track. There are many options, odn't forget to replace the stock cat with a hi-flow model.

LoL, he said Type SH totally waste of money, tell him to get a Base and Auto-X with a Type SH, i bet he will be totally behind! hahaha, If ur not gonna throw alot of money on a Base, dont buy a base.. If ur just gonna do just basic bolts on better just get a tyep SH better
