Just as the topic says, are SH and base model prelude headers the same?
I found some mugen headers that are for an SH and i need to know if they will fit my base.

 

i don't think so, the exhaust routing for the SH is diffferent due to the atts unit.

if you want to get the SH header you will need to either get the SH exhaust as well or cut your existing exhaust or cat / test pipe.

the sh downpipe is longer so that the cat isnt as close to the ATTS unit for cooling reasons. thus resulting in a shorter exhaust.

 

So i could fit a mugen Sh header as long as i got an SH cat-back system?
I found a mugen header for cheap and im not sure if its the real thing.
I need a pic of the mugen so i can tell if the ones im looking at are real.

 

Someone help this guy out. I've never owned a mugen product, so i'm not really sure to tell it's authenticity.

The SH downpipe is longer. You'll have to shorten your exhaust and move the cat back.

i'll go ahead and tell you, no, that is not an authentic mugen header. not even close. if mugen headers were the virgin mary, you just bought jenna jameson.

 

I think you know what i did. ****, it says that i have 48 hours to return them when i get them.
I only go them b/c i could return them. What should i do?
If they arent the real ones then isnt that fraud for them selling something that has a registered trademark of mugen on it?
I need some pics and measurments on the real mugen headers so when these come in i can compare them.

1. Mugen headers dont come ceramic coated.
2. They dont have a big friggin sticker on them that says mugen
4. If its uber cheap, its eaither fake or stolen.

And right about now, i would be pounding my head against the wall if i were you. Retract your bid, or if its over and they are on the way, send it back THE DAY YOU GET THEM. contact the seller, tell him you had a change in plans or something, and send them back.

I know all that but if its not real ill send it back. I might get lucky but i know i probably wont.
Again, if anyone has pics of the mugen headers i need them along with measurements.

 

it says no returns unless items received are damaged. you get 48 hours to inspect for damages and return, and then no returns for any reason after that.

i would try contacting e-bay. that is definately deceptive to not say "Mugen style" or something like that. i guarantee you though that it is not a mugen header, because like 98TypeSH said, there are no ceramic coated mugen headers.

email the seller and tell him you're retracting your bid, for false advertisiing. If you paid by CC, call your cc company and have them cancel they payment.

somewhat your fault for thinking a genuine mugen header costs 150 bucks, but then again, they did lie about what kind of header it was so...

I know i pretty much got punked, but is there a chance that they might be a copy of the mugen headers.
Maybe they arent genuine but if the structure is the same then they might work just the same.
I looked at pics of the two side by side and the structure is the same.
I just dont know what the scale is so i have no idea what size the pipes and collectors are.
