s2a4 tranny code
before i begin, let me provide a little background,
i've pieced together an f20b swap over the past couple years.
And untill recently I never took the time to look at my tranny code, place i bought it from is pretty legit.
Recently i had had some cash flow problems so I decided to sell everything, so my buddy comes over to take a look at the tranny says he might be interested.
he looks for the code and he asks me," wtf kinda tranny is this ?", he didnt recognize the code.
it bolts up, so im thinking it might be an accord tranny.
I tried searching, went through essential links. no sign of this tranny code. I think the place i bought my stuff from took me , they gave me an accord 5 speed instead of an lude tranny.
I thought about posting this in the accord board but this board always has more tech info so im starting here.
If anyone has any info please post .

It's definiately a honda tranny of some sort. I found a rebuild kit for it, but I couldn't find anything else for it. It's not a prelude tranny though, that's for sure.
i knew it!! well I'm wondering what the gear ratios are? Or if I can put better prelude internals inside Since the case is the same. That might end costing me more than a new tranny.
Thanx for the info xthephilx.

It bolts right up to my f20b, which for for simplicity sake is an h22 block. Thats why i think it might be off an Accord.
Anybody with info, ideas?

Okay found some more info, the 1997 Acura 2.2 CL came standard with an F22b1, which is a 2.2L SOHC VTEC with an 8.8:1 compression ratio, that produced 145 HP and 147 lbs Torque.
In addition to the Acura 2.2 CL, this motor is also found in some 94-97 Accord EX's.
Hope this brings some light to this mysterious tranny.

Probably will have shitty ratios, are you still planning on using it on the lude or selling it?
