....rust problem

its minnesota man, mine has rust to and its a 96, both back fenders and the prelude badge on the trunk and a little on the sunroof.. good body shop wants like 3gs to cut it out, put new metal in on the fenders and fix all my little dings n spots and paint the whole ****..

If you live in an area with a lot of snow/rain, your best bet is to remove the rubber liner on the rear wheel wells. On a lot of the early 90's Hondas/Acuras, this was the main cause of the famous rear rust because the lining allowed water and crap to collect by the wheel wells. I've removed the lining on all the Hondas I've owned til now (about 10 and counting
) and I've never had the rust problem happen to me yet living in NYC.

If I can do it you can do it. If you have a 'show car' take it to a shop, if you want it to look good do it yourself. Use Aluminum too, its better than the metal **** a professional would use and rust again.
