Hey guys. I know my topic sounds bad, but here's the deal:
I've picked up a manual guage cluster to 'complete' my tranny swap. I talked to the DMV and they said it's not illegal to change the odometer as long as you are changing the replacement to indicate the actual miles of the vehicle.
That being said, how do I do it?
Thanks!

easy. take out the cluster. the cluster should beable to slit into the tach section and speedo section. take off the side with the odometer on it. look on the back side, there should be a little clip next to the wheels with numers. pop off the clip and the numers should beable to slide back and forth. when you move them left or right they come out of their locked position and they are free to adjust. i dont believe they are able to roll forward, so your going to need to cycle forward to the number you need.
im not sure how to do it for the electronic ones.
