i moved to vegas car was in pennslyvania it broke down. a mechanic lookd at it says cyl1 is cracked. i fly home run comp 60 in cyl 1. 160 rest so i figure with it being that low it was cracked. well its not and my valves on the head are good

how can i figure out if the rings are bad or if the head gasket was bad for cyl 1

when i pulled the head the head gasket is 3 piece and on the cyl1 end the pieces where seperated and sticking up in the air proably 1 inch gap between each layer

i dont want to replace piston and rings if head gaskets bad but dont know where to start to trouble shoot

ripped out cyl 1 my rods bent to **** and took a chunk out of my wall lol anyone have a block for sale?
