Default Reverse Grinding

ok guys this problem has been giving me a headache for the past month or so...when i put the shifter into reverse it starts to grind but after 2 or 3 trys it goes into gear but the shifter wont stay into place...it would pop out and therefore i would have to do the process all over again...can someone tell me wat the problem is? maybe i gotta replace the tranny or something? i dunno but its really startin to bug me...all responses are greatly appreciated

I think the shift fork might be bent. Get it checked at a tranny shop ASAP.

Nope, thats likely what it is. Going to cost a couple bucks to remove and fix but if you ever wanted to go with an LSD or clutch upgrade, now would be the time to do it.
