Restoring the lude
Drove the lude to walmart to get a few things an walked outside to see a horrific scene of a chevy backed up over my hood an fender so now I am thinking since the prelude needs a hood an a fender, bumper an headlight why not just start what I've been putting off for far to long so I am looking to take the motor out change the clutch, timing belt, rear main seal, clean the tdc sensor an maybe do some head work an with the engine out do an engine bay wire tuck with that being said I'm having a little trouble finding an interior Change I want to do. I want to try an find a nice red molded carpet for the prelude but no clue as to where to get I have searched for it an googled an nothing seems to match up any help is much appreciated
eww why would you want a moldy carpet? jk
ive heard of someone dyeing the stock carpet red. but you have to clean it really, really good first.
also that sucks. go to autozone or something instead of walmart, less chance of someone hitting you I would imagine as most people that go to walmart probably suck at driving. always see banged up cars going to walmarts lol

You could try some of the DupliColor interior fabric paints for the carpet, idk if they come in red tho. You def gotta get the carpet as clean as possible, any dirt and it won't stick. I've heard great reviews on them.
They sell the carpets on Ebay for like $130+ which are premolded to fit the 4th gen preludes. Only thing is that you have to cut out the holes to fit around the shifter/center console, Trunk/gas cap release, seats and seatbelts. Im buying one as soon as i get the dough since my driver side like look like Sh*t.
Can you post a pic of the damage done to your car? I sincerely hope they did not mess up the frame/structure of the car. If he bent your cars frame even a little, it will need to go to a shop to have the frame pulled back out (if the insurance doesn't try to total it because of the cost of straightening a frame). Hopefully this isn't an issue, but I know my integra was bent at the point where the fender meets the windshield and they total'ed it
I had even bought z3 fenders to send to the shop, but the shop said bent-frame and they said No way...here's a check for what your car WAS worth. :*(

If it's a 5th gen then search for JDM prelude SiR red interrior. Red interior was a factory option in japan and mabey europe. It looks pretty good with black seats, but is alittle much with all red oem interior.
