Reset ABS warning light
1993 honda prelude
Had tires balanced today and ABS light has been on ever since. Discount Tire told me that you have to reset the warning to get it to turn off. I find this odd that in the 5 years that i have owned the car, many rotations, balances and 3 sets of wheels that taking the wheel off has never tripped the ABS light untill today.
Anyways, if this is what is causing it ... what is the proper way to reset it????
Disconnection of the battery ????
Thanks Mucho !

there is no "reset" for the abs simply disconnect your battery for at least ten seconds, reconect and start car. If abs light comes on when you start your car and does not go off there is something wrong with the actual modulator/pumps. If the abs light goes on when you start driving it is a wheel speed sensor. Easy to check either way
