Default replacing headlights

Hey guys, I'm new to the forum and Hondas, but not to tuning cars or the import world.

I just picked up a 93 Prelude with some light right front damage. I had to replace both fenders and the bumper. I tried my hardest to figure out how to get the headlight assembly out but for the life of me i can't do it. Maybe its because ive been working on the car for 9 straight hours. Any tips or advice how to get that thing off the car?

- Ken

You have to take off the front bumper to get them out.

Anyway more detail? They are attached to that huge mass of a plastic that has 5 or 6 bolts. I took them out but they way that headlight fixture is shaped it wont come out. It hits off the core support. I'll just try again tomorrow.

its not a pain in the *** at all.....

bumper.... two main nuts in the engine bay (near battery and on the other side), two screws vetically in either wheel well, two metal or plastic (i forget) screws by hood latch, 4 bolts deep in below headlights (thru grill), a few plastic screws on under valence.... slide bumper forward and its off.

ive had my bumper off in under 10 min before, it easy.

after that, its obvious as hell how to take the headlights off.
