Replacing gauges
I was wonderin if anyone has replaced their gauges for indiglo or reverse indiglo gauges for their 97'-01' Prelude. I heard a lot of stories on how it messes up your needles and things like that. Well tell me your story...
indiglo gauges could be installed easily and perfectly in most shops....all you basically hafta do is take apart your dash and put the indiglo over ur stock one.......just dont get it done at GENERATION 1 in AHAHEIM,CA!!!! THIS PLACE DOES A PIECE OF **** JOB!!!! AND REFUSES TO CORRECT WHAT DOESNT WORK NE MORE!!!! AND WANTS YOU TO PAY ANOTHER 20 BUCKS TO FIX WHAT WAS SUPPSTA BE WORKING IN THE FIRST PLACE!!
The newer kits are actaully easy. The old kits required you to remover the needles and then recalibrate everything after you got them on.
The new kits you just slide them over the needle, and then put it all back together and be on your way. This requires *some* electrical knowledge (hooking up the power wires and running them etc) which should be basic if you've ever worked on your car before.
Taking apart the dash to get to the guages is about the hardest part. If you can do that, then you're set.

Just bought a new gauge cluster that works. Blah I was one of the first ones to get indiglo gauges and I put them in myself messed everything up and ended up replacing my stock (messed up cluster) with one with 70k on it. Boooo. Oh well that's what you get when you don't know what you're doing keke.
