Replacing Ball Joints
My friend's 92 4ws is shot suspension wise. We're not really sure sure what type of suspension kit he installed or if he even installed any, but the car is extremely low and all the what seem to be balljoints have expired (meaning crushed) so now the car just bottoms out on everything. So......the plan is to take the car off the road for the winter and save up the money to replace everything in one shot. I'm still looking for new springs and shocks (so if any of you have a set for sale hit me up for a low price lol)
Enough rambling, my question is how many balljoints are there cuz there seem to be alot and how much am I looking at to replace these and can I do it myself? TIA

well i sent you a pm about a set of stock springs/shocks, and look on http://www.hondaautomotiveparts.com for the drawings of all the suspension ball joints, and you can order them there....
yeah im in the same boat with needing all new balljoints and suspension. I finally took my car for a ride tonight after doin my swap and it shakes like a **** and all the ball joint boots are cracked. I think the front A arms are 130 bucks for each side and the lower joints are about 40 each but they need pressed in. I havent checked the rear ones yet but ill be def doing the front soon along with suspension.
Thanks for the info, I didn't get the PM but I can tell you right now that we're not looking a stock set-up but I appreciate the look out non-the-less.
As for the ball joints, I looked at that site you recommended cuz I've been using it for a while now but it looked like the front had 2 lower ball joints when the car was on the lift so I wasn't sure and on the illustrations, they don't seem to show all the ball joints.
