Replacing axle, how true is this GUIDE to the 5th Gen Prelude?
https://honda-tech.com/zerothread?id=382416
Hey guys, I was hoping some of you can read over this thread and see how true it is to replacing an axle on a 5th gen Prelude, My guess is that it is pretty close, but I figured I would ask before I go and rent all the parts I need from autozone.
Thanks guys

well to answer your question
yes its true.
you might not need all the tools he used but seeing as you have never done it before, yeah, just get all the tools (esp the pitman arm puller)
its not that hard to remove axles

I have never had anyluck the pitman puller..all Ihave ever seenthem do is tear the boots.Your best bet at this stage is to put a jack under the control arm and lower the car slowly on the stand, using the weight of the car itself to pry the nut loose off the control arm, liberal amounts of wd40 also helps..
