Replace a Flex Pipe?
Do shops like Meineke have flexpipes they can replace for me? I'm asking this because I bottomed out and my flex pipe is damaged. My car is now very loud, and raspy during acceleration. If someone on this board has had the same problem, how much did it cost to get it replaced? I'm definitely not an expert on this so any help is appreciated! TIA.
You can have a new flexpipe welded on. http://www.jcwhitney.com/autop...01345
My 92 Si OEM downpipe has a huge rust hole in it. It is VERY raspy. I know the feeling.

Yeah, it was a really embarassing drive home. Where are you in MD? I'm in Germantown. There's a Meineke close by so I'm hoping they will have a flexpipe in stock that would fit the prelude. This is my daily driver so I can't wait to order one from the site you posted. Do you have any clue as to how much this will cost to do?
I am in Columbia. Not too far from you.
Yes, Mineke should be able to do it for you. I would guess your total bill would be about $100-$125. Not positive though
