what is the red line on a 98 base lude?,also what should the redline be with a superchip....have not hit it yet ,dont want to blow the motor,also will the motor be ok hitting redline every so often<110k>

i think your'e talking about fuel cut off. with that many miles i wouldnt try and "hit" fuel cut off. you dont really need a superchip becuase your'e not making power up there anyways with the factory camshafts. redline is at like 7400 or somehting like that.
