On civics you can stick a paperclip in a plug and the CEL will flash you the code.

Where is that plug on a 1992 prelude ?

 

Behind the center consol. Its a little blue clip

Reach behind the center consol right around where the Headunit is, mabey a little under neath it, in that area.

 

yep, right near where the gas pedal and the console plastic are close to each other

Okay you either are being ignorant or you really dont understand.

If you dont understand, get on your hands and knees take your hand and reach under the dash board, now follow that along to Behindthe center consol, right under where the wire harness for the radio plugs into the radio. Its a blue plug, easy to find.

If you cant find it, take it to auto zone and ask them, if they cant find it, take it to honda, if they cant find it, then you have one rare prelude.

found it. I guess my stereo guy had tucked it into the rest of the radio harness so I had to do some digging to find it..

Now do you know where I can get the chart that has all the codes.
